Fran
Fran has been involved in grassroots political activism since 1987 and increasingly felt the need for integrating this with spiritual awareness and magical action. She honours the sacred beings of all species. Fran loves playing with poetry, art, herbs, wood-whittling, wild places and growing things.
She has previously opened her home as an alternative community library, published a local women’s magazine and co-ordinated support for prisoners. Most recently she co-organised an art exhibition and other events on the issue of climate change.
She has ten years home experience of working with herbs and food for nourishment and healing, co-ran a community vegan café project and worked for 3 years in a wholefoods workers co-operative. She is committed to natural healing and is a trained holistic iridologist. She has worked in regular ritual within her local pagan community for the last 6 years and has recently completed a two and a half year Reclaiming/Feri student training.
She currently works as a mental health support worker, theatre usher and home-educating mother. She lives in Portsmouth with her partner, son and wise crone dog, Fang.
